Terms of Service/Pricing

Voysmith’s business model and communications channel empowers you to ‘DIY’ it, by submitting your smartphone photos/short video clips, PowerPoint slides, scripted text for narration, captions, etc. If needed, we can provide stock content (photos, video, etc.). The content is assembled on timeline tracks, with narration, music, sound effects, text overlays, transitions, animations, and other effects applied to produce a professional looking video for you – no expensive camera crew required

Our price is as low as it gets, starting at $155 for each ‘finished’ minute segment.

YOUR CONTENT: Content can be in the form of a PowerPoint Slide deck (pptx file), separate photographs, including photographs from a smart phone, text within a Word document (ideally inserting photos in a Word document with text under each photo/slide that is designated as the ‘narration’ text – or in a tabular, two-column format with ‘Visuals’ as the first column heading and ‘Narration’ as the second column heading); and if applicable, other text, such as text for captions, or for large textual overlays on Power Point slides, photographs, illustrations, etc.

RECOMMENDATION FOR SMARTPHONE CONTENT (16:9 Aspect Ratio): For a consistent and stable video presentation display, smart phone photographs and video clips (ideally each ‘video’ clip being no more than 15 seconds) that are submitted must be ALL ‘Landscape’ (horizontal focus). To adhere to the all important widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio required for optimal video display quality, you must set the frame aspect ratio on the phone to ’16:9′ (for both still photographs AND videos), and the preferred frame dimensions should be 1920 X 1080, or 1280 X 720 (if the ‘X’ selection is available). Ensure that the lighting and the audio (if applicable) is of high quality, providing a steady shot (no shifting and shaking) with no obstructions (e.g., fingers on the screen, etc.).

RECOMMENDATION FOR POWERPOINT CONTENT (16:9 Aspect Ratio): To adhere to the all important widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio required for optimal slide display quality, you must FIRST set the frame aspect ratio for your PowerPoint slide dimensions to ’16:9′. Open PowerPoint to create a brand new file/slide deck – click on the ‘Design‘ tab in the ribbon above; select ‘Slide Size‘ near the far right end of the toolbar; in the drop-down menu, select ‘Widescreen (16:9)‘. for more information from Microsoft Support, CLICK HERE.

NOTE: Please ensure that all content submitted (by customer) is of the best possible quality, and that you as the customer have abided by all licensing and purchasing requirements for any stock media you provide.

RECOMMENDATION FOR EMAILING FILES: MP4 (video file) email attachments have a size limit of 25 MB. If your file is over 25 MB, it can be uploaded and shared via a Google Drive link. Google Drive offers 15 GB to users for free. Large files (over 25 MB) can be emailed by placing them in tools such as Google Drive/Google Drive Desktop (for sending from a Gmail account), Dropbox, or OneDrive and sending the link to the file for the recipient to download the file locally.

RECOMMENDATION FOR AMAZON VIDEO (MP4) UPLOADS: If you plan to upload your product or service video to Amazon as part of your Amazon advertisement listing, the recommended video length is no more than 15 seconds. It can be up to 3 minutes but this is not encouraged. Please see the Amazon Recommendation page by CLICKING HERE.

A first draft of the video for the customer’s review will be emailed to the customer with a link to the video. The customer has up to five business days to respond with comments, final approval, or and any rework requests; at which time the link to the video draft will be disabled.

Upon the customer giving their final approval of the video, they must send an email to voysmithing@gmail.com explicitly confirming their approval. Their credit card information will then be taken over the phone and an electronic invoice will be emailed to the customer. The customer will receive the video file to incorporate into their website once their payment has cleared.

We have a simplified and extremely competitive pricing model for the final and approved product: $155.00 per each minute segment, and $35.00 per slide for any rework. A ‘slide’ is considered a photograph, a PowerPoint slide, an illustration, a brief video clip, etc.
