False self—false values—off balance,
big self—big target—big headache.
But within ‘selfless’ acts—there’s a rhythm, a union,
giving—no glory, nor expectation—a stress release.
Does the sun strut down the red carpet?
do the rains and rivers bill you monthly?
Are you not connected to these sources?
nourished by and dependent on these providers?
Is not the ‘selfless’ flow of nature telling?
is not volunteering happier than office politics?
